The Garden

Once a small field of peonies and trial borders, now a flourishing garden of long borders where peonies, buddleia and asters meet coastal light and landscape, the Garden began life as an extension of the Nursery in which to display some choice plants in it’s infancy and has developed and expanded. Set in heavenly Dorset countryside, the ½ acre garden is composed of an intricate web of gravel paths weaving between deep and colourful borders to create an intimate experience for the extensive collection of new and unusual plants. At the heart of the garden is a Japanese styled koshi-kake 'waiting room', surrounded by the cool greens of dwarf pines, grasses and ferns.
